If you’re short on space, this neat little Blackberry is ideal. Blackberry ‘Opal’ has a dwarf, compact habit and grows to be an upright bush only 90 cm (36″) tall—ideal for growing in patio containers or wherever space is limited. In late summer and autumn, thornless stems yield a bountiful harvest of blackberries with a deliciously sweet flavour. It attracts a variety of pollinating insects to its blooms, as do all blackberries, but takes up a fraction of the space of traditional cultivars. Height and spread: 90 cm (36″).
