Buddleja are incredibly quick to grow and easy to maintain or look after, producing wonderfully vibrant spears that attract bees and butterflies from late summer right through to autumn. Typically they grow very large and can take over a garden once established, thriving in poor soils providing they see plenty of sun. But the Candy Collection are dwarf and compact, meaning they only reach around 80cm tall, making them perfect for patio pots and containers, as well as small spots in borders and beds. ‘Butterfly Candy Little Purple’ boasts intense purple blooms that pollinators can’t resist. Growing Information
Grow buddleja in garden borders in any moist, well drained garden soil, in full sun or semi-shade. Alternatively grow buddleja plants in patio containers using soil based compost such as John Innes No.3.
