Cauliflower (Organic) Seeds – Skywalker F1

A traditional creamy coloured Cauliflower with the F1 hybrid vigour!

Cauliflower Skywalker F1 is a superb variety that benefits from the F1 hybrid vigour! Cauliflower can be a highly rewarding vegetable to grow and the Cauliflower Skywalker F1 even more so. Being cold tolerant, this variety of cauliflower won’t mind the extremes of winter quite as much as others. The tight, self wrapping heads help to protect it from low temperatures and weather conditions.

The Cauliflower Skywalker F1 forms great creamy and uniform florets, iconic with traditional cauliflower varieties. Retaining its texture well when cooked, the Cauliflower Skywalker F1 is perfect for enhancing any meals you add it to.

Growing Information

Growing Information

For the earliest summer crops, sow from September and overwinter in a cold frame, planting outdoors in spring. Alternatively for slightly later maturity sow under glass at 10–15°C (50–60°F) February-March. Harden off plants before planting outdoors. For maincrops sow direct outdoors, 1.8cm deep, in a prepared seedbed March-May.

Spring and Autumn/Winter Harvest – These hardy cauliflowers stand the winter outdoors though protection such as fleece may be necessary in cold areas. Sow 1.8cm deep April-May on a prepared seedbed. Thin seedlings to approximately 10cm apart. In June or July transplant firmly at 60cm spacing on soil manured for a previous crop.
