Description
The ‘Kyushu’ is a delightful shrub which features conical flowerheads of tiny single white flowers that appear from midsummer to autumn. The rich green leaves are finely serrated and have attractive pointed tips. The flowers are a popular choice for using in a cut flower arrangement, and if you cut them in autumn they will have a pretty pink blush to them. This hydrangea is great for planting in a border and it works particularly well when it goes alongside a more colourful shrub like a ceanothus or a buddlija.
