Description
Prunus ‘Early Rivers’ was introduced over 100 years ago but still remains very popular. This red to black cherry is noted for both its earliness and fruit size. Both the skin and flesh are very dark in colour with an excellent flavour. This tree has spreading growth with regular heavy crops. To guarantee cross pollination plant in a sunny, open site with another tree from the same flowering group (e.g. ‘Noir De Guben’).
