Tasty fruits which grow up to the size of a tennis ball. Try them sliced and grilled or stuffed and baked. Mix contains ‘Summer Ball’ and ‘Eight Ball’ varieties. Harvest June-October.
Growing Information
Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or one seed per 75mm (3″) pot in a greenhouse at approximately 20-25°C (69-78°F) using a good quality compost. Cover seeds with 19mm (¾”) compost. Germination 7-10 days. Grow on carefully, planting out when frost risk has passed, 60cm (24″) between plants. Can also be sown direct outside, two seeds per station, at a depth of 25mm (1″), thinning to strongest seedling. Grows best in rich, moist soil in a sunny position. Water and feed regularly. Sowing ?
