Delicate double blooms in profusion of mauve-pink, make Geranium pratense ‘Summer Skies’ a no-brainer for cottage gardens and herbaceous perennial borders in your garden. Despite its appearance, it is tough, hardy and undemanding, self-seeding ready to come back stronger year after year. Blooms will burst all through summer, with regular deadheading allowing blooms to keep coming until autumn. Height: 90cm (36″). Spread: 60cm (24″).
Growing Information
Pot up plug plants and grow them on in a bright, frost-free location. When plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions before planing outside in their final position. Plant hardy geraniums in any well drained soil, in sun or shade. Water well to settle the soil around the roots.
