Unusual looking but completely hardy, Heptacodium miconioides is suitable for small gardens, grown as a shrub or compact tree. Quick to grow and easy to care for, enjoy late summer flowers in cream and white tones. Blooms emit a deep and rich scent that fills the garden, leaving behind pink-coloured calyxes after they’ve faded away. Glossy green foliage is beautiful in its own right. Height: 6m (20′). Plant Heptacodium into any moist, but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Provide some shelter from cold, exposed winds.
