Ipomoea Heavenly Blue produces pretty tricoloured blooms on a climbing plant that can trail effortlessly up a trellis or pergola. Both easy and fast to grow, this plant is a must for those looking for something a bit different for the garden. Feel safe in the knowledge that this variety does not overtake the garden and will die back at the first sign of frost. Sow directly into position outside from May, or start inside from March to May.

Growing at a glance…
Soak seeds overnight before planting in seed trays, or directly outdoors. Can be kept under glass while seedlings grow. Pop outside once they grow to 5-7cm tall. Will take 5-14 days to germinate. Pop each seed an inch into their seed tray, covering lightly with soil and watering gently. Acclimatise the seedlings to outdoor conditions gradually before planting them outside against somewhere they can climb.
