These fleeces work by holding in the heat that is gained by the plants and compost during the day and insulating them from the cold frosty air of the night. Plants can be covered or wrapped to give them protection from not only frost but also wind, hail, pests and birds.
PLEASE NOTE the fleece is only designed to protect fro light early and late frosts, it should not generally be regarded as suitable winter protection. Great as a weather booster to bring spring flowers forward
