The ‘Romanesco Continunity’ Collection combines three magnificent varieties of Cauliflower, all bringing their own different characteristics to the table. Colosseo is a delicious alternative to common white cauliflower, with heads growing to 15 – 23cm in size and beautiful green florets. Gitano is packed with nutritional value, producing deep green curds of full spirals. Finally, Lazio is a Romanesco variety that has been bred specifically to elongate harvest period for bigger and better yields!
Growing Information
Remove the plants from packaging immediately in receipt. Water if the compost is dry. Once planted water well to help settle the soil. Plant in a well-drained soil in a position where it can get plenty of sun. Plant 45cm (18”) between plants and then 60cm (24”) between rows. In its early stages ensure it is watered regularly to help prevent the formation of small heads. Bend the larger leaves over the head to protect from the sun and help prevent discolouration.
