Description
The Chinese Juniper is a bright and hardy coniferous shrub which is best known for its unusual foliage; the leaves of this conifer emerge as small pine-like spikes and mature to bushier and softer leaves. The most unusual feature of the foliage has to be the variegation in colour; the majority of the leaves are mid-green in colour and the green leaves make the perfect foil for the golden-yellow tufts of foliage which appear intermittently all over the tree. This evergreen conifer is the perfect choice for adding colour to your garden all year round and it looks great when planted at the back of a border, it eventually forms a broadly columnar shape and its maintains its dense habit throughout its life.
