Description
Malus toringo ‘Scarlett’ is a relatively new introduction to the Malus family. Originally from Denmark, this tree has something to offer throughout all four seasons. The rich pink blossoms contrast perfectly with the new purple, deeply lobed leaves. The leaves turn a bronze-green colour in summer, then later in autumn they produce a dazzling display of rich scarlet and purple tints. The small purple crab apples, which appear in autumn, remain on the tree long after the leaves have fallen. A great choice for a year round interest which will bring a burst of life to your garden
