‘Orange Pumpkin’ is an exciting Geum, that blooms from mid Spring to early Summer. It generates a profusion of pumpkin orange flowers, that almost look double and are incredibly dynamic. Standing tall above a neat mound of weed suppressing foliage, this perennial is so easy to grow and makes a bold statement wherever placed in the garden. Ideal for growing in cottage, wildlife and cut flowers schemes, be sure to position in direct sunlight where it can thrive to a height and spread of 30cm. A wonderful little addition to patio pots and containers, this Geum will create an attractive focal point and spread out within your outdoor space, will add ornamental value, with small pumpkin like flower heads sprinkled throughout.
Growing Information
Plant Geums in moist, fertile, well drained soil, adding plenty of compost or well rotted manure to amend heavy clay or sandy soils. Choose a position towards the front of the border in full sun.
