Description
The ‘Jordan’ is a native of Israel, and it grows naturally around the banks of the river Jordan. The fruits are large with a purple-red colouring to the skin and have a vivid strawberry-coloured flesh. The fruits are of an excellent flavour and have very juicy flesh; they are perfect for making jam or jelly with. Make sure that you plant this fig in a sunny position and keep it sheltered from strong winds for the optimum crop.
