Creeping Phlox is an excellent choice for dry, sunny areas and challenging soils where other plants struggle to thrive. Once established, Phlox ‘Pharao Blue Eye’ flourishes even in the driest conditions, forming a dense, fragrant carpet of blooms that not only beautify the landscape but also help suppress weeds and resist drought. Each bright white flower features a striking detailed eye, making this hardy, evergreen perennial stand out. Perfect for tough spots, it reaches a height of 15cm (6″) and spreads up to 50cm (20″).
Growing Information
Pot up phlox plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When they are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before transplanting into their final positions. Grow phlox plants in any fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting.
