‘Peter’s Persica’ is a wonderful Rosa, that blooms from June until October. Dedicated to the late Peter Seabrook – the fantastic British gardener, it produces an abundance of vibrant yellow flowers, that each feature a unique red centre. Smothering a compact bushy climbing habit, this hardy shrub boasts masses of fresh green leaflets and contrasts beautifully against its prolific flowers. Winner of Gardeners World Plant of the Year 2023, this rose is ideal for scrambling along walls and fences and sits superbly in cottage gardens. Enjoying semi shade to progress, watch it develop in height to 2.7m and spread to around 1m! A rose no one will forget, get yours now for a striking summer display and feel honoured that your purchase has contributed to the Colegrave Seabrook Foundation, assisting students in learning horticulture.

Growing Information

Plant bareroot roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole. Stems of climbing roses will require training against a suitable support such as a pergola, fence or wall.
