Description
Picea pungens ‘Fat Albert’ is a handsome conical (Christmas tree) shaped conifer, with a beautifully subtle steel-blue colour to its needles.
It grows about thirty centimetres in height per year to reach about three metres in ten years, and finally matures at three to five metres. This tree produces cones and they are five to ten centrimetres, and are greenish when young. The cones are a light brown colour at maturity.
