Description
Cydonia ‘Meeches Prolific’ is recognised for both its fruiting and ornamental features. This tree produces large, subtle pink flowers in spring, followed by large, pear-shaped fruits ready for picking in late October. The fruits are wonderfully fragrant when ripe and are therefore a great choice for a sensory garden- particularly one that is in need of fragrance in autumn. The bright yellow fruits can be used for many different culinary uses.
