Product Description
Also known as Chinese fountain grass, Pennisetum ‘Red Head’ is a clump-forming perennial that will produce large, early bottlebrush flowers in summer which open red and gradually fade to purple/brown as the seasons progress. The smoky plumes soar above a mass of long and narrow green foliage that will turn golden in autumn. A holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this grass makes a striking feature plant within the garden border.
