Tell Me More…
Stages of the summer sky, your Bidens ferulifolia ‘Brazen’ collection boasts tones of the rising, setting and midday sun. Tidy mounds of lush green foliage are covered from June to November with little buds which open to reveal bright daisy-like blooms. Enticing passing pollinators, your borders, containers, and window boxes will be a riot of colour. Each plant will reach approximately 30cm tall, and a width of up to 60cm, creating fantastic weed-suppressing groundcover. Your collection comprises: ‘Brazen Eternal Flame’ – the brightest, sunny, yellow blooms with a darker eye; ‘Brazen Rising Sun’ – warm red-orange petals surround a yellow eye; ‘Brazen Glowing Sky’ – burnt orange petals boast intriguing linear markings. Drought and heat tolerant, the Bidens ferulifolia ‘Brazen’ collection have been classified as half-hardy annuals by the RHS so will not tolerate temperatures if they dip below -5°C. Plants prefer to be grown in well-drained soil in a sunny position.
