Another lesser known name for Tricyrtis ‘Sinonome’ is the Japanese Orchid Lily. Whenever you see the word ‘orchid’, you expect to see an exotic flower in extravagant colours, and this is certainly what ‘Sinonome’ offers. Blooms emerge in August and last through to September – bringing creamy white flowers, dappled and blotched with burgundy purple and accented by unusual, pronounced stamen.
