Tell Me More…
A pair of stunning and exciting hybrid varieties of anemone one of which, Anemone sylvestris ‘Spring Beauty White’ is new this season. Coupled with Anemone x lesseri ‘Spring Beauty Pink’, which was introduced in 2023, they are a perfect pair which bloom on strong, sturdy stems from May to August each year. Smaller and sturdier than their cousins these reach a height and spread of up to 45cm, making them perfect for more exposed areas and the ideal height for cutting to add to a vase indoors, where the simple, sophisticated blooms add an understated elegance.Open flowers are ideal for pulling in the pollinators and even better, plants readily naturalise for an abundance of blooms and great groundcover. Both are fully hardy perennials which will happily grow in pots and rockeries, as well as herbaceous borders and are drought tolerant once established. Adaptable Anemone ‘Spring Beauty’ Duo prefers a site with either full sun or partial shade in rich, moist, well-drained soil.
