Attractive plants with a spreading habit in a fine range of colours. Well suited to growing on the rockery. Flowers June-October. Dwarf variety. Height 15cm (6″). HHP – Half hardy perennial (best grown as an annual).
Sowing Information
Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 15-20°C (60-68°F) using a good quality moist compost, sowing seed lightly onto the surface. Do not exclude light but maintain moisture (Germination 10-12 days). Transplant seedlings spacing them 5cm (2″) apart in seed trays and grow on. Gradually acclimatise the plants to outside conditions before planting them out 15cm (6″) apart in a sunny position. May also be sown July-September in a cold frame, planted the following spring for early summer flowering.
