Tiny green flowers in June, surrounded by large, tapered, creamy white, flower bracts, fading to red-pink. This broadly conical Chinese dogwood is renowned for its dark green leaves which turn crimson-purple in autumn. An excellent specimen tree for a small garden or woodland edge, the leaf colour is best in fertile, well-drained, neutral to acid soil.
Large strong specimens at approx 90-12cms tall in approx 10 litre containers.
