This sturdy shrub produces large conical panicles of white flowers from late summer to autumn, adding a splash of colour to the yard when other plants are starting to fade. Hydrangea paniculata ‘Kyushu’ is a low-maintenance shrub that blooms profusely with little effort. Hydrangea paniculata prefers a sunny or semi shaded position, with shelter from cold, drying winds. Grow hydrangea plants in any non alkaline, fertile, moist soil. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply.
