Cuphea hyssopifolia or Mexican heather is a small evergreen shrub native to Mexico that reaches around 60cms high by 90cms wide. It has masses of small purple-pink and white flowers, with the occasional lavender, lilac or white coloured flowered form some times appearing over the fine foliage.
It is a very adaptable plants and does well in a sunny or partially shaded situation with good drainage, ideally in a sheltered position. It is also a first rate container plant where it will perform all summer long, right up to the first frosts of winter.
Supplied in approx 1 litre containers, covered in buds and flowers in season.
