Verbena hybrida ‘Lanai Green Apple’ are a relative of the award winning Verbena ‘Lanai Up Peach’. ‘Green Apple’ takes the long flowering, showstopping attributes with it along the way to create one of the best verbenas around. Look no further for continuing flowers that keep their dramatic colour, even in hottest spells of summer sun. Blooms are produced from May to October are giant and impactful whilst having a subtle, pastel green-cream colour. Verbena hybrida ‘Lanai Green Apple’ will spill over hanging baskets and patio pot edges trailing to around 50cm, and the gorgeous, serrated foliage will lift and enhance the beautiful blooms even further.Verbena hybrida ‘Lanai Green Apple’ also makes a great weed suppressant if planted in beds or borders where its sprawling habit acts as groundcover. Attractive to pollinators, watch as bees and butterflies dance around the blooms, pollinating from one to the next. Prefers to be planted in well-drained soil of any kind except heavy clay. Position in sun or partial shade with any aspect except north facing. A tender annual, withstanding temperatures down to around 5°C, plants grow to a height of 25cm with a spread of 30cm.
