Artful Actaea Collection brings showy foliage, accentuated by nectar-rich flowers to the garden each summer and autumn – helping your garden to transition between seasons with long-lasting colour. Plants flower from May to October – giving up to 6 months of colour across the range.Actaea are tall, elegant plants which needs a moist, shady spot in order to thrive. Alongside the architectural, highly scented, bottlebrush-like blooms they produce dramatic clumps of showy, ferny foliage from as early as March right through to October for valuable, ground covering interest. Collection comprises: pachypoda ‘Misty Blue’ H: 75cm S: 60cm; simplex ‘Pink Spike’ H: 1.5m S: 75cm; and simplex ‘Brunette’ H: 1.2m S: 1m. Artful Actaea Collection is also a draw for passing butterflies and bees when in bloom, and produces attractive berries soon after flowering which are valuable sustenance for other wildlife.
