Description
This variety is an old-fashioned English cooking apple, which keeps its shape well when cooked, rather than turning soft. An ideal choice for old-fashioned apple-pie recipes. Aside from the sweet-tasting fruit, the tree itself has an upright growth habit and maintains a fairly compact form. To guarantee cross pollination plant in a sunny, open site with another tree from the same flowering group (e.g. ‘Braeburn’).
Common Name: Apple Annie Elizabeth (Culinary)
