Description
Dusky, dark, purple-pink flowers in late spring, followed by cherry-like, reddish-purple fruit, and bronze-purple leaves maturing to dark green with crimson veins. This vigorous, spreading purple leaved crab apple is best in full sun. Pollution tolerant it makes an excellent ornamental tree for a sunny, urban site.
