This stunning maple tree has deep purple-red leaves which give a striking contrast against its green stems. It also adds some beautiful autumn colour to a garden with the leaves turning a mixture of orange, yellow and red.It is a deciduous tree so these fiery leaves will drop in the winter so that the rich red-purple foliage can return in the spring.
This plant will appreciate a mixture of sun and partial shade in a moist, well-drained soil of any type.
