This popular RHS AGM variety is known for its narrow, dark green, glossy foliage and clusters of white, star-shaped flowers. The fragrant blooms appear in the spring, but there is a second flush in the late summer. Choisya x dewitteana ‘Aztec Pearl’ is a hardy plant that thrives in a variety of growing conditions, including coastal gardens. Plant Mexican Orange Blossom in any well drained soil in full sun or partial shade, with shelter from strong winds. Alternatively grow Choisya in patio containers filled with loam-based compost such as John Innes No.3.
