A re-selected and improved variety with good double flowers in various shades of blue, most with attractive frosted white edges. Long stems make it an ideal item for cutting. A ‘cottage garden’ favourite. Height 75cm (30″). HA – Hardy annual.

Sow March-May outdoors for flowers June-September, or sow during August-September to flower June-July the following year.

Sow thinly direct into finely raked, moist warm soil, where the plants are to flower at a depth of 13mm (0.5″) covering the seed lightly. Germination takes 10-14 days. Thin seedlings in final stages to a final spacing of 10-15cm (4-6″) apart, removing any competing weeds at the same time. Choose a sunny position. Alternatively, to flower the following year, sow directly outside during August-September.
