Sow directly into the open ground where intended to flower at a depth of about 13mm (14) from March to May. raking the seed in lightly. When seedlings emerge, thin out to about 15cm (6″) apart. Alternatively, sow during August or September for early flowering the following year. Does well in an open sunny position on most types of soil.
