A lovely type of Lobelia, ‘Trailing Fountain Rose’ is prized for its abundant blooms of soft rose-pink flowers that provide a romantic cascade of colour. When planted in hanging baskets, window boxes, or other containers with room for its rich, flowing blooms to spill over the sides gracefully, this trailing lobelia is especially impressive and produces a continuous show of colour from early summer until the first frost.
‘Trailing Fountain Rose’ thrives in full sun to moderate shade, requires well-drained, continuously moist soil, and is best suited for milder climes. Because lobelia can be susceptible to dryness, it’s necessary to make sure the soil doesn’t dry out completely. However, it’s also crucial to avoid waterlogging in order to prevent root rot.
