For best blooming, plant in full sun with well-drained soil. During the growing season, water frequently—especially during dry spells—but do not overwater. To promote continuous flowering and preserve a neat appearance, deadhead spent blooms. After flowering, trim the stems back to encourage healthy growth and stop self-seeding.
