Description
Prunus ‘Sunset Boulevard’ is a relatively new introduction to the UK, already widely used as a street tree and in our opinion deserves wider use in gardens. It has an upright habit when young, maturing into a narrow vase-shaped crown. The large white, pink-edged flowers are borne in pairs and are held on the tree longer than many other Prunus varieties. The young foliage appears bronze fading to green in summer then golden yellow in autumn.
