Description
Magnolia ‘Susan’ has deep vase-shaped pink flowers that are sweetly fragranced. These flowers open up to between 4 and 6 inches in width; when opened they reveal a lighter pink inside. This deciduous shrub bears its flowers first in mid spring right before the leaves start to appear. Magnolia ‘Susan’ unlike other varieties will bloom in its first year.
