This is a very attractive form of berberis with brightly coloured flower in late Spring, hence the name Orange King. Upright in growth, it forms a medium sized evergreen shrub with small, glossy, dark green leaves, the dazzling display of late spring blooms is often followed by attractive blue-black berries.
