Description
Pyrus ‘Beth’ is an excellent garden variety making a small compact tree producing a very reliable and heavy crop. It has small to medium conical shaped fruit with smooth, pale green skin later turning to yellow. The flesh is creamy white and very juicy, with a sweet flavour. This pear was bred at the East Malling Research Station in the UK. To guarantee cross pollination plant in a sunny, open site with another tree from the same flowering group (e.g. ‘Williams’).
