Blueberry (Vaccinium) Earliblue
Grows big juicy blueberries perfect for homecooking!
An early maturing variety it produces large, light blue, sweetly flavoured berries that hang in clusters from the beginning of July. When grown with late fruiting varieties, Earliblue can extend the fruiting season by several weeks. This substantial bush will also make a pleasing shrub for the patio or acidic borders with an abundance of sweetly, scented creamy-white flowers in spring, and fiery crimson autumn foliage. Blueberries are packed with health-boosting compounds and are especially delicious in pies, muffins and jams, the plants will begin to fruit 1 year after planting.

Growing Information
Blueberries require a well drained, acid soil in a sunny or semi shaded position. In areas where acid soil does not naturally occur, grow blueberry plants in patio containers using a mix of ericaceous compost and John Innes No. 3.
