Striking new foliage colour! This beautiful evergreen fern’s fronds emerge as an orange or copper colour that really stands out. They mature to dark green and are stiff and upright. Easy to grow if kept moist. Height 80-90cm (32-36″); spread 50-60cm (20-24″).
Growing Information
Plant Dryopteris in a sheltered spot. Choose a position in dappled shade on fertile, moist, acid or neutral, soil. Dryopteris ferns prefer a soil that is rich in organic matter so add some well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting.
