Celebrated for its year-round visual appeal, Loropetalum chinensis ‘Fire Dance’ is a bright and brilliant addition to any landscape. This evergreen shrub’s stunning pink fringed flowers, which bloom in spring and intermittently throughout the year, contrast with its ruby-red leaves, which mature to a rich purple.
With a typical height and spread of up to 1.5 metres, “Fire Dance” is a great option for foundation plantings, mixed borders, or as a focal point in a container. Although it can grow in many different kinds of soils, it favours acidic, well-drained soil and full to partially shaded spots for optimal colour and bloom performance.
