Description
The Rancho is a very unusual tree which features stern branches that spread outwards and upwards to form a neat pyramidal shaped tree. The leaves are heart-shaped with finely serrated edges and they have a rich green colour on the top, with a pale silvery-green colour underneath. The leaves turn to a very bright yellow in autumn before falling, which really brightens up your garden on a dreary autumn day. Although the branches are rather sparse when young, the tree does have a dense habit when mature, and the foliage is strong and waxy which makes it an ideal windbreak or screening tree.
