Amaryllis ‘Dancing Queen’ is adorned with spectacular double trumpet blooms with red and white stripes. Providing months of flowers, they are ideal for growing on windowsills or in conservatories where you can admire them up close. Once all risk of frost has past, they are equally at home planted in pots on the patio.
You can decide when they want them to flower – winter, spring, early summer. Simply keep cool and dry, until you want to plant them. Bulbs should flower 10 – 12 weeks after planting, depending on conditions. Height: 45cm (18″). Spread: 30cm (12″).
Growing Information
Plant amaryllis bulbs in containers of loam based compost such as John Innes No.2., and place in a bright, warm position in full sun. Plant amaryllis bulbs so that the shoulders of the bulb protrude above ground level. Water only sparingly until the stems appear.
