Sow December-February under glass in gentle heat. Flowers June-September. N.B. Resulting tubers may be stored through winter and started into growth in early spring.
Sowing Information
Sow thinly in a seed tray using good quality compost pressing gently into the surface about 12mm ( 1?2″) apart. Place a sheet of glass or polythene over the tray to germinate at 18-20°C (65-68°F). Do not exclude light as this assists germination. Germination 8-15 days. As the seedlings develop transfer into 9cm (3 1?2″) pots and grow on. Acclimatise to outside conditions before planting out 25cm (10″) apart.
