A tasty, slow to bolt herb which can be grown as a cut- amp;-come-again leaf salad or a mature plant. Sow monthly for a continuous supply; crop into the winter with cloche protection.
Growing Information
Sow thinly in a pot on a windowsill using quality compost. Cover seeds with 6mm (¼”) sieved compost. Germination 7-14 days. Grow on in pots and begin to use leaves when plants some 15cm (6″). Sow every 3-4 weeks for succession. Alternatively sow direct into finely raked, moist warm soil. Thin seedlings to 23-30cm (9-12″) apart.
