Summer snowflakes (Leucojum aestivum) will flower in the Spring, despite their name. Each stem carries three to seven small flowers with the petal on each flower carrying a pretty green tip. The hardy leaves grow through in winter before blooms appear. Often referred to as snowbells, these are a lovely addition and any bed, border or window box.
