Pea (Mangetout) Plants – Spring Blush
The pea variety that is as attractive as it is tasty!
’Spring Blush’ is an irresistible ornamental-edible. A tall climbing variety, this pea (mangetout) plant will produce attractive bi-coloured purple/pink blooms and lots of rose blushed and pure green pods. This plant will reach heights of 240cm and spread 250cm, it will need a good support but, it is well worth the extra effort.
’Spring Blush’ can be picked as mangetout or snap pods, perfect for adding a splash of colour to stir-fries or eating raw. This pea plant will also produce loads of hyper-tendrils that are equally delicious to eat.
Growing Information
Plant out peas in moist, fertile, well drained soil in full sun. Allow a distance of 75cm (30″) between rows.
